Launched in October 2004, PruHealth is a joint venture between Prudential UK and Discovery, South Africa's largest private healthcare provider. Combining the security of the Prudential brand with an innovative private medical insurance product, PruHealth offers a different kind of healthcare that encourages members to look after their health.

Our innovative but very straightforward philosophy is that we believe encouraging your clients to stay healthy is just as important as looking after them when they're ill. That's why we offer our members a combination of great insurance cover providing the highest standards of care and treatment possible, the opportunity to manage their health and most importantly, rewards which could include cashback and, for employees, an increase to a Personal Health Fund which can be used for treatment not usually covered by health insurance.

Vitality enables us to build partnerships with health providers, to give customers significant discounts making it easier for them to become more healthy. Members can benefit from 25% off the usual price of individual monthly gym membership (a £25 activation fee applies) and 50% off standard retail prices for health screens.

We also reward members for healthy living with great potential discounts on holidays from Mark Warner, Eurostar tickets, Polar heart rate monitors and the Cineworld Unlimited annual pass. The higher the member's Vitality status, the better their rewards so they've even more reason to look after their health.
