Prudential's Flexible Retirement Plan considered one of the strongest all-round insured packages in the market
Golding Smith Report, December 2009
An independent review of the personal pensions market was carried out by Golding Smith & Partners on behalf of Prudential. The review compared Prudential's Flexible Retirement Plan (FRP) with the personal pension/SIPP products offered by other leading providers. The findings of the research are highlighted in the Golding Smith Report.
Summary of some key findings of the report:
- The FRP external fund range includes a high percentage of the leading funds in the market and provides a wide cross section of funds by IMA sector. This is in contrast to the rest of the market with many providers not offering such a comprehensive selection of funds.
- The focused fund range is offered at competitive prices
- FRP offers a full set of integrated options (personal pension, income drawdown, & SIPP) whilst many other providers do not offer such an integrated offering
- In conjunction with the newly awarded 5 Star Life and Pensions Provider rating, FRP offers one of the strongest insured packages in the market and a good all-round solution where the SIPP option is activated.
The findings from this report are positive re-enforcement of Prudential's offerings.
