Making our cookies easier to digest
You may have noticed a new information bar on our websites asking you to accept our cookies policy.
On 26th May 2012, the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) imposed a new EU directive designed to give you more control over your privacy when using the internet.
The directive applies to every website in the UK, and stipulates that websites must:
- Tell people that the cookies are there
- Explain what the cookies are doing
- Obtain visitors' consent to store a cookie on your device
Our new cookies policy and information bar helps you to control your privacy when browsing our sites, and helps us improve our websites and enhance your browsing experience.
