Prudential Overseas operations and authorisations
Prudential is a worldwide operation.
Where a policyholder is moving out of the UK, it may be useful to know whether or not Prudential is authorised to sell new business in the policyholder's new country of residence.
For example, personal pension contributions can become invalid when the policyholder moves overseas. But the policyholder still wants to keep the investment within the Prudential Group. Or, when other policies/bonds reach their maturity date, the policyholder may want to reinvest in another Prudential contract in the new country of residence.
Some policyholders moving abroad ask for the value of their pension policies to be transferred to their new country of residence, but want to keep the investment within the Prudential Group. The following may help in such considerations:
