INTERNATIONAL PRUDENCE BOND

Maximum Investment
There is no maximum investment limit for Unit-Linked funds.
However, for investment into the Prudential International PAC With-Profits Funds and the PruFund Range of Funds, there is a combined maximum limit of £1,000,000, Euro €1,500,000, US$1,500,000 per policyholder for investment into the Prudential International PAC With-Profits Funds and the PruFund Range of Funds. These limits have remained unchanged since August 2005 version of OSB4. Prior to that the limit was expressed as £1,000,000 sterling or currency equivalent. This limit applies across all policies with PIA.
Where there is more than one applicant on a Bond each applicant will be treated as having made the investment. For example if £1,000,000 is invested in a Bond, each applicant will be regarded as having invested the maximum amount possible into the PAC With-Profits/PruFund combination.
PruFund Restriction
It is not possible to invest in more than one of each currency version of a PAC With-Profits Fund, PruFund Protected Fund or each version of a PruFund Non-Protected Fund at the same time but if all fund options are chosen they do not need to be the same currency. i.e. any combination of the following is permitted.
- 1 PAC With-Profits Fund in any currency
- 1 PruFund Protected Fund in any currency
- 1 PruFund Growth Fund in any currency
- 1 PruFund Cautious Fund in any currency
Example: PAC With-Profits (Euro) Fund plus PruFund Protected Cautious (Sterling) Fund plus PruFund Growth (US Dollar) Fund plus PruFund Cautious (Euro) Fund would be acceptable.
Investments made into the PruFund Range of Funds will be held in the corresponding PruFund Accounts until the next PruFund Quarter Dates which are: 25 February, 25 May, 25 August & 25 November or the next valid working day.
Access to PruFund Non-Protected Funds (which were launched 25/11/2008) are restricted to IPB & IPB (CRO) contracts with the following contract references and are available for OSB7 from 09/05/11:

Additional investments into the PruFund Protected Funds within the same Bond are not permitted. Additional investments can only be achieved through purchasing a new Bond.
