The description below is a brief outline of contracts with the rules reference R209/5/72. The contract was replaced by the Flexidowment (2nd Series) in 1975.
Description
A with-profits flexible endowment assurance written as a combination of identical unit policies maturing at the policy anniversary preceding age 65.
The policy carries guaranteed early maturity values on the 10th and subsequent policy anniversaries.
Allows the surrender of less than all units to occur with the policy remaining qualifying.
Premium Payment
Premiums may be paid yearly, half yearly or monthly.
The monthly premium per unit is £1.00 - the half-yearly £5.95 and the yearly £11.75.
Policy Benefits
The benefits are n x 9.75 per unit where n is the number of years premiums paid.
The Policy participates in the principal bonus series.
