Special Extra Yield Bond
This is a brief description of the contract.
Period Offered
Available to New Business from January 1985 until April 1990.
There are 2 versions of this bond FIB 3 (S) (Series 1) and FIB 3 (H) (Series 2).
Description
A unitised single premium, non-qualifying, whole life contract.
It can be written on a single life, joint life last death and life of another basis.
These bonds can only invest in a limited number of funds ie Deposit Bond Fund and Extra Income Bond Fund.
Clusters are individual bonds taken out at the same time, which have separate bond numbers.
Plan Basis
Standard allocation of 101%.
Death benefit is 101% of the bid value of the units held.

Additional Investment
Additional investments cannot be added to these bonds.
Withdrawals
Partial withdrawals and regular withdrawals can be made at the value at Bid Price of the units withdrawn.
Regular withdrawal frequency may be monthly, quarterly, termly, half yearly or annual. The current minimum amount is £50 and payments will be made on the 1st of the month.
