Offshore bonds for early retirement calculator

The calculator shows how a non-taxpayer could cash in segments of an offshore bond with minimal income tax liability by offsetting the gain against personal allowance. This could be used, for instance, to provide funding for early retirement.

Long-term withdrawals calculator

The calculator shows the effects on investment capital of making long-term regular withdrawals in a taxed and untaxed environment. The 'gross roll-up' on offshore bonds means they can support withdrawals over time more effectively than onshore bonds that are taxed at source.

Making use of personal allowances with offshore bonds

The calculator shows how a non-taxpayer can create a chargeable gain each year equal to the personal allowance, so there is no immediate tax liability and the final chargeable gain on cashing in may be significantly reduced.
