Past Discussion Papers
Launched in June 2007, the FSA published its long awaited Discussion Paper on its review of Retail Distribution, with the intention to trigger widespread debate on how to improve the effectiveness of the retail market for distribution of regulation products.
The review consisted of five key work streams:
- Sustainability of the distribution sector
- Impact of incentives on the advice processes
- Professionalism and reputation of the sector
- Consumer access to financial products and services
- Regulatory barriers and enablers for the market solutions
