    In addition, the Technical Helpline team are now backed up by a team of specialists (Product & Sales Technical Team) who are on hand to work with you on complex cases and potential client planning strategies.

    This specialist team has over 90 years' combined experience and provide expert support in the more detailed and complex areas of financial planning, across a range of expertise:

  • The Annuity Contact Centre deals with annuities through presale, acceptance and the servicing of policies in force.
  • We receive requests by telephone, fax, post or email.
  • All Enhanced Annuity requests are underwritten within our department and most decisions are made within 24 hours.

  • They are also experts in our own products and solutions and can support you on complex cases.

  • We are one of only a few insurance companies that have a specialist eBusiness team to support advisers.
  • Training and help is provided over the phone, by 'Webex' webinars and in person.
  • We provide free regular, training sessions on how to use our online services.

E-business Helpdesk

  • If you're unsure of your Prudential agency account number(s) our eBusiness Helpdesk can also provide these.
  • You can call us on 0808 234 5200 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and with the 'Queuebuster' phone system, you'll not have to sit on hold. We'll call you back when we get to your place in the queue.

Income Drawdown Service Team

  • We have a team of dedicated drawdown specialists who handle all new business and post-sale enquiries.
  • Many of our experienced staff have been working on Income Drawdown for a long time, and were involved in the development of our current product.
  • Speak to one of our experts in the team by calling 0808 234 2372 available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  • In addition, we have a technical helpline to assist with complex queries.

Regional Sales Unit (RSU)

We provide a strong 'Power of 3' team to support your sales needs - a Regional Account Manager, Telephone Account Manager and Sales Support Executive.

  • RAM: Face-to-face account managers with strong technical knowledge, working in partnership with you to identify sales opportunities. They are able to provide regular product and market updates as well as attend office meetings.
  • TAM: Providing real time sales solutions to meet your clients' needs, whilst helping identify sales opportunities. Like Regional Account Managers, they are specialists in Prudential's proposition.
  • SSE: Third point of contact with strong understanding of Prudential's proposition. They can provide updates on new business, arrange Account Manager appointments and take seminar bookings.

Pensions Transfer Team

  • We have a dedicated team who secure transfer values and deal with the ceding provider, making it easier for you to transfer your client's pension or income drawdown into our Flexible Retirement Plan.
  • We offer a fast and efficient service, alongside technical expertise. A team member will be assigned to your case to see it through to completion.
  • We'll typically transfer your client's pension funds to our Flexible Retirement Plan in an average of just 11 days, for cases over £50,000.
  • Our Transfer Value Analysis System (TVAS) gives clear guidance on the implications of transferring your client's benefits, including the critical yield required to support the switch.
  • Our TVAS can analyse DB to DC transfers and DC to DC transfers for consolidations as well.
