Why we collect personal information from you from this website

So when you log on to MyPru you can be assured that your information is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.2 with up to 256 bit encryption. This helps to protect your data from prying eyes whilst it travels over the internet. On the website, you’ll see a padlock symbol at the bottom of the screen which confirms you’re in a secure area. Further to this, all our internal systems have the latest security technology in place so you can be confident dealing with us at all times.



The personal information we collect from you and how we use it

We collect personal information for three key reasons:

1) We collect personal information on how you use this website. We do this through the use of cookies, and the personal information we collect this way is anonymous, so you are not personally identifiable. You can find out more from our Cookie Policy.

2) We collect personal information whenever you complete a form. The personal information we collect on these forms allows us:

  • To send you information either via email or through the post. If you would prefer not to receive this type of information then please let us know and we will ensure that you are not contacted.

  • To verify that you are eligible to receive communications from us (this website is for UK adviser use only).

3) We collect personal information when you access our Online Services. Access to our Online Services on this website is managed through third-party secure login providers. The personal information you provide within our Online Services, such as client information, is managed on a separate platform from this website.

We may share your personal information with the M&G plc and our Business Partners for the reasons above.

When you contact us by email there is no guarantee that any email you send will be received by us and we cannot guarantee that any email you send us will remain private during internet transmission. Unless of course you complete a form using our Online Services where the personal information provided will be secure.
